Things I Can Do Without

People In Line Ahead Of Me
Here's someting I can do with out:People ahead of me on the supermarket line who are paying for an inexpensive item by credit card or personal check.
People! Take my word for this: Tic Tacs is not a major purchase.
And I get just as discouraged when a guy who's buying a simple jar of spaghetti sauce tries to pay with a letter of credit from the bank of Liechtenstein!
Folks carry some fuckin'money around, will ya? It comes in handy!
No one should be burrowing money from a bank at 18% intrest to buy a loaf of fuckin' bread!

And remember.....
Laissez les bon temps rouler!
And as always,thanks for listening!

We don't use cards anymore. The economy is tanked, yet everyone wants to see a credit card before they let you make a huge purchase. Get real. (Hugs)Indigo

Must be an old guy thing. I carry cash--if it is less than a $500.00 I got the cash. Not worried about keeping cash in the house, its like a game. I have some great hiding places, lets see if the local bad guys can find it.
Also--I hate it when I get gift cards, just give me a box of candy or a bottle of asprin and I will be fine.

I'm the same way ... always pay cash for groceries. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to, however, when someone in front of me in line uses their card for a minor purchase. I think the technology has improved, the card transactions seem to be faster than they used to. What bothers me is when the person in front of me spends an eternity fishing to find their money or credit card, when they could have done so in advance.
Best,
Marty

I'd carry more money around if Obie would send me some. I'm lucky that I don't have to pay with pop bottles.
