It's Been One Week

My Debbie has been gone for a week now , she comes to me in my dreams.
I awake happy then reality sets in, I'm lonely,Sassy is lonely but we manage to get thru the days.
On the tats, I want to get both but the rose and rosary will be first.
Tomorrow ,if I can manage , I'm going to her grave for a good cry.
Tomorrow , I'm also getting my American Legion card so I can be around people it'll get me thru this, no drinking just to play pool and converse.
I loved her so much, more then life itself, she was my goddess!
Thank you so much for your support and warm comments friends it helps.

And as always, thanks for listening!

I think that is a wonderful idea, John. The companionship would be good for you... the tattoos are lovely and I am looking forward to seeing them on you.

Debbie is with you still, even when you wake.

be well...

I think that is a good idea, too, John. When I lost my husband, at times when I got so depressed, I got in my car and went to Wal-Mart, or the Dollar Store, just to be around people and not at home where his memory was so strong. Gradually, I was better able to handle the grief. Although I never have forgotten him, I can deal with his loss. You WILL get through this, my friend.

be sure & take pics when you get your tatts & let us see them.
getting out is a good ideal, make a effort to get out dly & go somewhere that there's lots of people, just to be away from home for a few hrs.
go shopping, hit the mall & browse, etc.
getting your card is a wise choice.
also visit friends or family, when home, spend lots of time with sassy, talk with her, play with her, pet her. remember she's got to adjust too.
will take time.
know you're in our thoughts & prayers.
you can always email me & i offered my ph # on an earlier comment.
you can count on many of your blogger buddies, lean on us if you need too.
big huggies...

Hi Johnny,

What a beautiful Tag for Debbie. I also agree with everyone that being around people will do you good. And go have that good cry at Debbie's grave, I bet talking to her will help comfort you too. I am so glad you finally posted a picture of yourself, I sure would love to see those tats when you get them. I include you in my prayers at night for the Lord to give you strength.
Hugs my friend
