Life Since '09

Well ,since My Debbie had passed my life is like a roller coaster of emotions .
I did start back on drinking , sorry folks but I Gots to do what I Gots to do, but not nearly as much as I use to drink.
I am just starting to get use to being alone , it's not easy for me but I will adjust eventually.
My melt downs are very few now , I guess the meds are working....Ha!, you never ever recover from a loss of a loved one and in a strange way I really don't want to... I still love her and as I said it is getting easier but her love and memories are all that I have of her.
A few of my friends online and here in Pa. Have helped me through the worst of it And I thank and Love all of them that helped me recover.
God Bless All Of You!!!!!!

And as always, thanks for listening!

Thanks for the update and so sorry both for your loss and the roller coaster you've been on. Sending good thoughts your way ... it sounds like with the help of your friends you have been dealing with this as best you can and that things are starting to get better.

Hey GArnett,Sherry and I have discussed what we know one of us will face. We know there is no way to get around it. We talk about how young you guys were to face it.

I cannot know how much pain you have, but from the side lines I want to say Keep doing what ever works. In my mind there could not be worse for one to face.

From up here, Jack using Sherry's computer. Hang in there, she sould want you to.

I can only imagine how difficult it's been for you. I know how much you loved your Debbie - and she knew it as well. You are right, you have to do what gets you through and I will never judge you my friend. I hope you have better days ahead - remember, having better days does not mean you are forgetting Debbie.

We're all rooting for you, John, and although time doesn't really heal wounds, it sort-of ameliorates the effects. Hang on to the memories of the good times, and be the master of the bottle if to the bottle you go.

Sorry I didn't know you had posted. I know what you've been through as I lost Mel at age 50 and lived alone eight years. I'm so glad you have your friends to help you through as they can mean so much. No judgeing here as I did some pretty crazy things.

I know you loved her more than anything John. She was your world. You take care and don't drink too much.

Hi Johnny
I am sorry I took so long to respond I missed this post. I can't believe it has already been that long, I remember the day. I am so happy that you have good people around you to support you. I pray every day it hurts a little bit less and is replaced by all your wonderful years of memories. You two will be together again in heaven just do not rush it trying to get there (I just worry about your health with drinking again) ;)
Hugs!!!
