The Worms Crawl In
Whenever you see a hearse go by, you may be the next to die. They'll wrap you up in a big white sheet and throw you in a hole that's 6 feet deep.Everything's fine for a week or so and then your nose begins to grow. The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, the worms play pinochle on your snout.Your stomach turns to an icy green and pus shoots out like white whipped cream. You wipe it up with a slice of bread, and that's what you eat when you are dead.

All the more reason for cremation. Yes, I used to sing that song! Anne
Happy Holloween to you too!
Melanie
Reminds me you ask about the army worms. Some call them web worms. They come here in droves some years and eat the good green leaves off the grass. Farmers and ranchers hate to see them. Hope your Halloween is going okay. Our trick or treaters are scattered this year.
Delightfully putrid in tonights honor! (Hugs)Indigo
That's an old song from grade schools days.. Linda in WA
GROSSSSS!!!!! All I remember of that song was "The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, into your tummy and out of your mouth, if you see a hearse go by, you will be the next to die."
From a scary movie, Picture Mommy Dead!!! (I think??) Ewwww, I'm gonna have NIGHTMARES tonight!!! LOL!!
Rather unpleasant thought there ~ leads me towards cremation!
my John knows this one...
I haven't heard that one in years. I remember as a kid, I didn't know what pinochle was.
