wrote about how her Aunt and Uncle Treated them to dinner and it brought some sadness to me but also a great deal of love and respect for my Uncle Ray & Aunt Marion, if it was not for them for the last 4 months I'd be in the mental ward, you see when my mom died they were right there to help me get through the tough times, I did not realize how much family is so important until recently, you see I'm a only child and all my life I did everything myself with no help from anybody.
Thanks Terri for reminding me whats important.
And as always, thanks for listening!

I did not know you were the one and only. Those first holiday's without a loved one can be major tough. You have US and Deb! Geeesh you're all wrapped up with love!
Hi Johnny,
I just read Terri's entry and can see why it touched you ... what a nice, close-knit family, just doing what they like, spending time together.
Best,
Marty
What a touching story. I only have one child and will do my best to let him know how important family is along with the quite moments being all to himself. Hardest times fall when a loved one is gone and family always seems to make that hurt a little easier to handle. Remember you always have Debbie and of coarse US. Take care,
As Marty mentioned in his comment from reading Terri's entry he noticed that we are a close knit family from her writing. I think when Mom passed away it drew us closer together and we appreciate each other more. Terri is an only child too but I do have a large family and we lean on each other for support. I'm glad that your Aunt and Uncle have been there for you in your time of grief. I can't imagine how you must feel like you are drowning in sorrow after the loss of both your parents. I know how it has swallowed me whole at times after losing Mom and my sister. I wish there where words that could ease your pain but I know there are none. Sending you many hugs John, we all care about you very much.
Hugs
Debbie
I'm glad you had your Aunt and Uncle there for you dear friend. Paul's family did the same when his mother passed on. She was the only parent he ever knew. I'm finally learning what family is suppose to be all about. (Hugs)Indigo
I'm glad that you had someone there to help you through it John.

John...I'm sorry my entry brought you sadness...but am glad it reminded you how important family is. I am so glad your Aunt and Uncle are there for you... I too am an only child....I am so blessed to have the family I do have. I can't imagine the pain and heartache you must feel in losing both your parents...I have lost two very special people in my life...my Grandma and my Aunt Judy...I think after their passing I realized just how precious life is...and that tomorrow isn't promised for any of us...and that we must make the most out of each and every day....
We are always here for you John!
Big Hugs!
Terri
