I have a family dealing with extreme verbal abuse. Abuse of any kind is a problem! It is so complicated sometimes, and I pray that people in these situations seek the help that they need. Anyone who knows of children in abusive situations should call their local child protective services. You can do this anonymously if you choose. In my city, CPS is so busy that they only come out if children are really in bad shape. But starting a file is important, so call. Also, elder abuse or dependent persons abuse should be reported to local authorities as well.
People can make a difference!
